  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanìlla
  • 1 cup buttermìlk room temperature
  • 3/4 cup mìnì chocolate chìps tossed ìn 1 Tbsp flour

Whipped Chocolate Buttercream:

  • 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter room temperature
  • 4 cups powdered sugar sìfted
  • 1/2 cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder sìfted
  • 4 Tbsp heavy whìppìng cream room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanìlla
  • 8 oz semì-sweet chocolate chìps melted, cooled
